New York Native Alisa Boniello ignites passion, a strong singing ability and the inspiration of following your dreams. While discovering her path as a singer/songwriter, she is generating an expanding fan base through her upbeat, pop songs. It’s only a matter of time before the whole world is “lovestruck” with the artist as well.

Raised in the town of Somers in Westchester County, NY, Alisa started taking classical piano lessons at the young age of 5, and was soon singing in local musicals by age 12. After making the decision to attend college, she combined her years of classical piano training with her strong natural singing voice. Alisa graduated with a BA degree in Classical Voice through Hunter College in May 2011.

Over the past two years, she began writing original songs with contemporary pop/soul vibes and experimenting by mixing her strong vocal abilities with her traditional piano skills. Alisa also started appearing at open mic clubs around New York, such as the Waltz Astoria in Queens, and the Sidewalk Cafe, Desmond's Tavern and 169 Bar in Manhattan to begin her journey as a live artist/musician.

Alisa has recently recorded her debut four-song EP entitled LOVESTRUCK which is set to release this spring. The singer collaborated and co-wrote four songs from the recording with Grammy award winning songwriter/producer Barry Eastmond. Those songs include the hit single “Lovestruck” where Alisa used her boyfriend as the inspiration, “(When Will) Love Feel Real” which the talented singer previously wrote a few years ago but Alisa and Barry recently reworked it to make it the great hit it is now, and “Why” which was the first song they recorded. Alisa has been quoted saying that working with Eastmond “was the most amazing and productive experience that I have ever had. He really spoiled me, was totally open, and was able to take my ideas and turn them into songs that felt magical”. Songwriter/producer Wendell Hanes and Dan Kramer also collaborated with Alisa and co-produced “That Kind Of Girl”, which was also the last track they recorded on the EP. “Lovestruck” will be available for purchase as a single through CD Baby on February 14th, 2012.

Alisa has said that the overall video creation process was amazing. “I had two directors, Michael and Jess, and they were both so helpful and creative. Bravo media made the video look fantastic and I could not have found a more professional, fantastic group of people.”
