Why You Can't Miss the Yolanda Today Tour

Why You Can't Miss the Yolanda Today Tour
Ever been to a concert and the opening acts are nice but you know the audience is being polite and waiting on the main attraction? Oh they may clap for the act here and there but the bottom line is they want to see the headliner and that's it. Well the Yolanda Today Tour is NOT that type of concert. This show is truly the case of the opening acts being just as good as the main attraction. Yes at this spiritual feast the appetizers are wonderful and so is the main course and at the end you will leave the event full of the spirit!

The show opens up with one of the hottest new acts on the scene, the dynamic duo of Nuttin But Strings! These two fine brothers from New York shot to fame on "Showtime at the Apollo" and they have been red hot every since. I have never heard a violin sound sweeter than when these two play. From Luther's "Dance with my Father" to their own "Thunder" these two rocked it from start to finish! They jam so hard that when they were finished everybody jumped to their feet to give them the standing ovation they deserved.

Next out the blocks was the phenomenal J Moss! Right from the first few notes of his opening song "I Wanna Be" you know that you are in for a praise party that won't quit! For his entire set he moves, grooves and sings at a pace that is non stop and full of energy. Along with his back up dancers 21:03 (who shall have a project of their own out soon) they work the crowd over and provide a power-packed jam session that leaves everybody wanting more. It is easy to see why his CD "The J Moss Project" is flying off the stands even as I type! The boy is just "baaad" plain and simple and if you don't know you need to ask somebody!

Finally there is the Queen Bee...Ms. Adams herself! She comes out with her powerful voice and delivers a rousing rendition of her old standard “Continual Praise" from there she invites the crowd to sit back, relax and enjoy her ministry. With that announcement she croons, scats, preaches and sings with that rich full bodied voice that we have come to love over the years. With each note Yolanda fills your soul with warmth and love and she gives you the impression that this is your big sister speaking to you about the truth of God with every note. Talent and beauty is on full display even while she is wearing a pair of jeans and heels. Just when you think you are going to kick back for the rest of the show she fools you and like a crescendo that starts out low she ends things with a bang with her final tune Victory! Next thing you know you are out of your seats once again dancing and praising God to the fullest!

Sponsored by Comcast and Southwest Airlines, “Yolanda Today” is scheduled for more than 25 cities, including New York, Chicago, and Detroit. For more details visit www.YolandaAdams.org or www.alwe.com
