General Foods International Vanilla Creme
Guest Author - Cheryl Lewis

If you like some of the General Foods International drinks, you've got to try this new Vanilla Creme! This has became a hot new favorite in our household. I can't seem to buy enough of the little cans fast enough.

To make a steamy cup of this Vanilla Creme you mix 4 teaspoons of the mix with 6 to 8 cups of boiling water. The finished product is white and a little frothy on top. The taste is a smooth, sweet cream with a the hint of vanilla beans. It smells just as good as it tastes too!

If you like your drink a little more on the creamy side try making it with milk instead of water. Just be sure not to boil the milk. Bring it to a good steam and pour in the cup. The texture becomes thicker and seems more like a vanilla custard style.

Another way to make this Vanilla Creme is to use boiling water, but add about 2 tablespoons of half & half. (We use the fat free variety.) This gives it just the right amount of creaminess!

We spend a little less than $3.00 for the 9 oz can, which claims to have about 18 servings. I can't comment on the number of servings because I can't keep this stuff around long enough. My teenagers enjoy this stuff as much as I do! It's perfect for an evening relaxer because it doesn't have any caffeine like some of the other varieties of General Foods International products.

Try this today! You'll be glad you did.
