Hello, and welcome back! It's getting warm out there, so I hope you've found a good shady spot to sit with your reading material and cold drink of choice. Or perhaps someplace indoors with air conditioning, as I have when it's far too hot to sit outside.
Our forum members have made their choice this month and picked paranormal as our June sub-genre. So, rather than one of the many (many, many!) vampires sitting all over the bookstore shelves (and am I the only person getting really sick of those?), I chose a ghost story with a twist....
View of the River (Mira) by Kathleen Eagle has not only a ghost, but features some of Ms. Eagle's considerable knowledge of Native American history with her shaman hero, Birch Trueblood, who's called to investigate the ghost in Rochelle LeClair's B&B home. And Rochelle is none too pleased to have the man she believes is a fraud coming to her home either, even with the ghost disrupting her life and home. But Rochelle really does want to find out exactly what happened to the woman.
This one is only a few months old, so is still readily available if you didn't already pick it up. Discussion will begin in the forum around 6/22/06. You do need to be a registered user to take part in any forum discussions, but registration is free (and painless, I promise!), so I hope you'll join us in this discussion! Plus once you're registered, you can chat with us in our other discussions and take part in our regular giveaways!
Until next time, happy reading!
