Rose Water Facial Tonic
- Fresh rose petals from one rose
- 2 cups of water
- 1 TBSP glycerin
- Red soap dye
- 10-20 drops Rose scented fragance oil
- Bottle for packaging
Place the rose petals in a large saucepan and pour the water over the petals. Cover saucepan and simmer over low heat for about one hour. Let cool just a little and then strain. Gently stir in glycerin, red dye (until it's the color of your choice) and rose fragrance. Mix well. Place in your bottle for packaging. Store in the fridge during the sumnmer for a cooling and relaxing treat for your face.
Use a cotton ball to apply to the face and then let air dry.
