Alternative Headwear for Your Wedding - Flowers
Your wedding is the perfect time to let your creativity loose. Think about using flowers to create your headpiece. They create and aura of romance and can be used with a veil or they can stand on their own for a beautiful look.
Summer weddings are a perfect time to use an assortment of brightly colored summer flowers. Don’t limit your use of beautiful blooms to the bouquet and chapel decorations. Many varieties are suitable to accessorize your wedding hairstyle and will stay lovely for hours. Ask your florist to prepare the ends and to advise you on how to keep them looking their best throughout the ceremony and reception. If your favorites are too fragile, think about duplicating them in silk.

When visiting the hairstylist on your wedding day, take along the prepared flowers that match or enhance the flowers in your bouquet.

This long wavy style uses an assortment of tropical flowers. These flowers, after the ends have been prepared, were attached to a wire headband. After the style was complete, the flower covered headband was added and there is no need for a headpiece.

Using flowers in an updo:

This look is very feminine and a perfect wedding style. Have your florist prepare the flowers and attach them to bobby pins for you. After your hair has been curled and pinned into place, your hairstylist can artfully nestle the flowers into curls scattered throughout.

Your attendants:
Each bridesmaid should wear a simpler form of hair accessory such as one or two of the flowers that have been used in the bride’s hair. These can be used with a headband or pinned into the side or back of the style.

For more formal wedding themes, use all roses or any blooms in all white.
