Brief History: A family owned business gift shop from North Carolina launched in January 2006. Hats Off To Her was founded by Sharon Stewart and is run with the help of her two daughters (Allie and Jen) and two sisters (Dawn & Jan). Girl Power! Instead of the usual wicker bun basket they offer stylish hats, purses and totes as the bearer of gifts. They come in a variety of themes all with one purpose in mind, to make women feel pampered.

Packaging: Shipped in a large box. Inner basket decorated with cellophane, tulle netting, a yellow bow and a few shells and starfish (Option: hand written gift enclosure card).

Comments: If presentation is everything then this is perfect. Really beautiful and causes an "aw" feeling when you open the box. The starfish/shells were a nice touch. As many of you know I'm a fan of chocolate so anything offering chocolate ranks high on my pleasure meter. There were lots of goodies in this basket to share or hoard but it was a bit over nutted (notice I didn't say too much chocolate). The 30 minute CD is relaxing and definitely good for those quiet moments or if you can plan it, a nice bubble bath. The contact cement used to arrange the parcel is annoying to remove both from packaging and fingers but it kept everything in place while traveling from the US. The title of this package insinuates for two and so does the massage kit but there is only one mug, I guess you're meant to share.
Satisfaction: Moderate. I had high hopes for the peanut butter chocolate popcorn but was very disappointed as it seemed stale. So if you find a package with this item listed ask for a substitute (bare in mind cost may be affected). My favourite items from this package were: the CD, pistachio nuts, Rocher chocolates, Chiarardelli squares, truffles and biscotti bar. Virginia for Lovers is just one of a number of categories to find the perfect package for the right personality. This item will be added to my yearly list of recommended gifts.
