Mo Prayze Music Group along with FlipSide Entertainment will sponsor a memorial concert in honor of Dave "Boo" Gordon on November 19th at Providence Missionary Baptist Church 469 South 17th Street (corner of 14th Avenue) Newark, NJ. The event is set to raise funds for a memorial headstone and the Dave Gordon Foundation for Young Aspiring Musicians.

Dave Gordon was murdered last year around the Thanksgiving holidays and his family has decided that the best way to honor him would be to host a huge Gospel concert in his honor. He was the only child of Sister Malika Smith of Mo Prayze Music Group who has been a long time contributor in the Gospel music industry.

Sister Smith stated in a recent letter "I am requesting all media executives to help me spread the word about this event. It will be a star studded Gospel music event with various attendees from the Gospel music industry. We also have invited special guests such as R&B star Alicia Keys"
