Hello, and welcome back! We're nearly through the holiday season here, with absolutely no sign of wintry weather to accompany it. I'm highly disappointed with Mother Nature in this area. I always figure, if it's winter, it should feel like winter, but just this week, it was nearly 70 degrees here in the northeast, far from typical December weather. I'll keep holding out hope that we get some snow soon, or at least a really cold snap to give me a good excuse to stay indoors with a good book and some hot tea. In the meantime, I have the announcement of our January Book Club Selection for you.
Nine Lives (Mira) by Sharon Sala is our reading choice for the month of January 2007. Cat Dupree is on the trail of the man who killed her father and left her badly wounded, and she's determined that he won't get away. Wilson McKay is after the same man, which puts him on Cat's trail, whether she likes it or not. And she doesn't. Not really. Okay, not much. But Cat's scars aren't all visible, and there is more in their way then the squabbling between them.
As always, we'll spend the first weeks of the month reading, and then discussion will begin in the forum around January 24, 2007. You do need to be a registered user to participate in the forum discussions, but registration is free and quick, so if you haven't come to chat with us yet in the forum, hurry on over now, so you're ready to talk books next month! Plus you'll be able to join in on all the other discussions with romance readers, not to mention the book giveaways.
Until next time, happy reading!
