Have you ever tried to bake a cake when you were in a bad mood, clean a house when you were tired, or study something when you could care less about the subject?
When you try to do things and your attitude stinks, it usually directly affects the outcome of what you are trying to do. That is why I am stressing attitude when it comes to sweepstaking. This is a hobby that requires you to have positive energy when you are experiencing a lot of rejection.
We tend to think that if we are not winning, it’s a personal thing. Yes, the whole world is against us and some people are just so lucky. Have you ever had these thoughts? If so, then it’s time for an attitude adjustment. And no, the sponsors do not have a personal vendetta against you and they are not purposefully ignoring your entry. You don’t have a dark cloud hanging over your head and there are no little goblins chasing you, thwarting all of the work you are doing.
What you are experiencing is called life. Some days it rains and some days are gloriously sunny and the wind kisses your cheeks.
All you need is a minor mind-set adjustment. To be honest, it is very difficult to acquire and maintain a positive attitude, because it takes a whole lot of work and constant monitoring of yourself. But what’s exciting is, you can change your outlook on those things in this life that directly affect you. I really don’t need to go into much detail here, because each of us already has heard, or knows, what it takes to be a winner. We just need a little discipline to implement it.
Hope is a phenomenal tool to use. Merriam-Webster says hope means; to cherish with anticipation, to desire with expectation of obtainment and to expect with confidence.
Now do you see why it is so important for a sweepstaker to have hope? You need to meditate, reflect and see yourself winning that prize you want so much because that creates anticipation and desire. Picture yourself sitting in the front seat of that BMW, pre-setting the radio dials on that vehicle. You can now patiently sit waiting for your win notification, because you have confidence that you have done all you could…to win. You have submitted your neat, legible entries in a timely fashion and now all you can do is hope that your entry is picked.
Charles F. Kettering, the US electrical engineer and inventor who invented the self-starting automobile ignition system put it this way, “our imagination is the only limit to what we can hope to have in the future.”
So let your imagination go wild, keep a positive attitude with those sweepstakes and wins will come your way.
Get the inside scoop on how people are winning all of those sweepstakes and contests, and here's a clue, it's not all luck! Sweepstakes Your Guide to Winning! will give you step by step instructions on how to be a winner. To learn more, go to http://www.bellaonline.com/ebooks/ebook160.
