Spooky Halloween Books and Readings

Spooky Halloween Books and Readings
Looking for something different to entertain guests at your Halloween Party or while passing out candy? Look no further! Spooky Halloween audio books and readings are just the thing to spook up your party. A low-cost, no-hassle way to liven up your party and set the mood for a great Halloween experience.

You can listen to the first five minutes of each audio book to get an idea of what the narrator sounds like and what the content is about. To me, the narrator is the most important part in an audio book. The right narrator can make a modest book seem quite interesting, while a poor narrator can ruin even the best-written material.

Once you decide on an audio book, you can download it right away. No going to the store or waiting on shipping. This means if you decide on Halloween you need something, you can get it right away with no hassles. Once your audio book is downloaded, you can either play it on your computer or MP3 player, or you can burn the audio book to a CD and play it on your home stereo. Keep in mind it will sound better through higher-quality speakers.

A great one for kids is “The Best Halloween Ever”. It is 2 hours and 30 minutes long. Six kids notoriously known for creating horrible Halloween’s cause the mayor to declare Halloween officially cancelled. No candy, and absolutely no trick-or-treating. However, the six very creative kids manage to turn the worst Halloween ever into the best Halloween ever. An uproarious sequel to “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”

“Dibbles Halloween Spooktacular” is great for the whole family. Just 55 minutes long plus loaded with a wonderful cast, light-hearted stories and great sound effects.

If you are more into the horror and suspense settings for Halloween, then “The Abduction”, “Imagination-X”, and “The Night Country” will give you a whole night of suspenseful tales filled with horror. Stephen King fans will appreciate “Cell” chocked-full of technological twists with the traditional Stephen King gory details.

For the classic folks out there, you might want to consider “Legend of Sleepy Hollow” which was winner of the Gold Ogle Award for Best Fantasy Production of 2005. Set with a very scary music score, thousands of sound effects, and a titillating, terrifying final encounter with the Headless Horseman, this classic will surely become a family favorite to be listen to every Halloween from here on out.
