New Characters and Tools in Poser 7

New Characters and Poses, Morphing, Posing and Setup Room

So what else is new in Poser 7? One of the best time saving features of Poser has always been the built-in and ready-to-use 3D content and this upgrade includes some new high resolution, fully rigged additions in the Poser Library. Some of these new figures include the popular Koshini 2 from Lady Littlefox, La Roo from RuntimeDNA and Alpha Man and Beta Boy from Sixus1. You also have the new Universal Poses that can be applied to characters from previous versions of Poser as well as the new characters. Even your favorite poses from earlier versions can be saved in the new Universal Poses format.

It is easier to design and pose your own 3D characters with the new upgrades to the Morphing Tool. The new Create and Combine tabs allow you to create and add as many custom morph targets as you need to increase detail and realism in your characters and scenes. Posing individual body parts of your characters is made easier with the new click and drag figure posing Z-Buffer Actor Selection feature. With these new real-time sculpting tools, the 3D artists can sculpt visually using morph targets, instead of the old dials and parameters, to create more realistic facial expressions, cloth simulations and more. You have new tools in the Setup Room to help you design your own hierarchical skeletal and joint structures which you use to "rig" your characters to make them move.
