Fibromyalgia Education and Awareness Month. May 1–31. To promote education and awareness of the dangers of fibromyalgia, which is also known as fibromyalgia syndrome (FSM), fibrositis or chronic muscle pain syndrome. Free Comic Book Day. May 6. Comic books can be a great resource for parents struggling to get their children to read for pleasure, but one that’s often overlooked.
