Adding the perfect time to do a spell creates another layer of strength. Last week we looked at using the moon phases. This week let's look at days of the week and their meanings.

Even after learning and timing your spells to have the most influence and strength, remember that your intuition, focus and visualization also play a key part in making the most of your magic.
Each day of the week has its correspondences. Herbs, colors, planetary, numerical all have special significance. The more you study the craft, the deeper your understanding of timing will become. When finding the right timing using the days of the week, if your spell requires more than one day to complete, it is best to have it end on the day that the spell will be the strongest.

Sunday, the first day of the week is ruled by the Sun. Some of this day's influences are success in general, individuality, money, power, healing, spirituality.

Monday, the second day of the week is ruled strongly by the Moon. It is a day devoted to motherhood and family. Some of this day's influences are dreams, medicine, clairvoyance and home.

Tuesday, the third day of the week, is ruled by Mars. It is a day for growth and new beginnings. Some of this day's influences are hunting, courage, contests and matrimony.

Wednesday, the fourth day of the week is ruled by Mercury. This is a day for new ideas. Some of the influences for this day are communication, divination, debt and fear.

Thursday, the fifth day of the week is ruled by Jupiter. Thursday is a day for travel, writing or spiritual growth. Some of the influences for this day are Health honor, riches, money and legal issues.

Friday, the sixth day of the week is ruled by Venus. It is a day for Love and fertility. Some of the influences for this day are pleasure, music and art.

Saturday, the seventh day of the week is ruled by Saturn. Saturday is a lovely day for Banishing unwanted things. Some of the influences for this day are protection, building and freedom.

You could add this information to your BOS to study at a later date. When creating a spell, look over the ideas that call to you and add them to your spell in order to make it special and unique to your spirit.
