Matchy Matchy Fashion Jewelry A No No?

Guest Author - Cityrocka Perry

Matchy-matchy fashion jewelry; you’ve seen it before. They’re generally attached to some flimsy piece of cardboard or plastic; the set of fashion earrings, the fashion necklace, and sometimes a fashion bracelet. There are a large number of people who gravitate towards these fashion jewelry selections for the obvious benefit; simply because it’s right there in front of one for the taking, at what’s usually a bargain basement price.

What Makes Matchy Matchy A No No.

Let’s face it. No one’s going to haul you off to fashion jewelry accessories jail if you’re caught wearing it (okay, I just well might  make the attempt if I saw you  out), but for now you can consider yourself safe. And that’s just the thig: Matchy matchy fashion jewelry might just be playing it a little too safe. Accessorizing is supposed to be creative---hopefully, a visual extension of who you are, and matchy matchy is the exact opposite of this. Dare I say it, but accessorizing in such a manner could almost be considered carbon copy-ish. Don’t get me wrong. The motive of this fashion jewelry accessories article isn’t meant to make anyone feel less than, these are words aimed to uplift and motivate fashion jewelry enthusiasts such as yourself. I’d love to see my readers think outside of the box by getting to a place where they feel comfortable expressing themselves through their jewelry and fashion accessories that’s non cookie-cutter.

Creative Style Tips For Uninspired Jewelry Wearers

1 - By all means if you’ve accumulated a hill of matchy matchy jewelry, don’t toss them. Try mixing them up and then experiment.

2- Challenge yourself. Make it a goal to find unique pieces that are within your budget and have fun with it. You could even post your picks on social media, and see which one of your picks gets the most positive feedback from friends.

In closing, what I’d like to note is that at the end of the day, the choice is yours. if you still want to wear matchy-matchy jewelry then do it. This Fashion Jewelry editor only wants you to do what feels good and push you towards being your best self.

Now Go. Do. Accessorize.
