New Artist Review
Moore to the StoryMarlo Moore
Looking for music to help you relax and praise God at the same time then pick up this CD. The mellow tunes of Moore to the Story by Marlo Moore are enough to intrigue the average listener and also offer sweet praises to God. While this project definitely could have used some up-tempo songs, it offers a great start for this new artist. Check out the tune "Holy" which shines a light on the gentle voice of Moore and delivers a strong praise and worship tune. After listening to this tune you know that Moore has a lot more to offer us in the future. To learn more about Ms. Moore check out her website at www.myspace.com/mooretothestory

You Gotta Work John Crowe
This project starts out slow and in fact it wasn't until the fourth track that I found something that hit home with me. However as the old saying goes...good things come to those who wait. On "I Found Someone" the neo-soul groove of this tune fits John to a "T" and his guest singer Janelle Behavis adds a great touch. The two blend well together and the head bopping joint is one to check out for sure. The next track "Love Me Just for Me" is a great ballad and one that he performed well live and in person at the Just Churchin' series held at Greenbriar Mall. "Bread of Heaven" no not the long song that people moan and groan to in church, that is not this song...this version is upbeat and a nice tune. This project could have also used a few more fast tracks but overall it is worth a listen. To learn more about John Crowe check him out at www.n2thecrowe.com

It's All GoodJames Jackson & Atlanta Praise
Opening up with a bumping praise fest "It's All Good" James Jackson and ATL Praise deliver a solid track filled with hand claps and harmonious voices. Encouraging the "sinner man" to "listen up" and give his life to Christ the song manages to give a funky groove all the while helping one to learn that in Christ it's all good. The next tune "Bow Down to You" features the voice of Danetra Jackson, whose crystal clear soprano brings a pure and fresh sound to this ballad. Another track to check out is the high energy "Keep on Fighting" a "don't sleep on it" track if there ever was one. Check out James Jackson and Atlanta Praise at www.myspace.com/atlantapraise
