Fright Catalog

This is a one stop Halloween shop for trick-or-treaters shopping for the whole family. There are costumes for young and old, props, movies, masks, make-up, wigs, and special effects. Fright Catalog has been doing business online since 1990. They are located in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Selection: Fright Catalog has thirty-three plus size Halloween styles to choose from for men and women in the plus size section. For women they range from sleazy or sexy to spooky. The traditional vampires, bar wenches, gypsies and Medusa as well as a sexy bunny and woman in a straight jacket.

Sizing: The sizing is a bit ambiguous. Their size chart says the plus sizes cover 14 to 26 (women) but in the item description for some of the individual costumes it's hard to tell what size is available for order while others are obviously labeled 2x or 3x etc. The plus sizes for men are 48 - 54.

Pricing: From affordable to expensive, $39 - $200 (awesome gothic vampire). If you happen to find one of their costumes somewhere else for cheaper they have in place a best price guarantee.

Availability: Fright Catalog will ship to the United States and Canada.

Overall Impression: I like how you can see the prices with the thumbnails. You can sort costume according to price, name and availability. If you are into period pieces you will like their small collection of renaissance costumes which is a bit pricier than the standards but I imagine would also be more durable. If you want sexy check out the Black Piratess, Red Riding Hood or Elvira. If you want alluring maybe the Warrior Queen. If you are into meek then there is Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.

Tip: After you click on the plus size category under costumes click on sort by availability that way you won't be disappointed if something isn't available.
