Did you watch Planet Earth - The Complete BBC Series
on the Discovery Channel? It was amazing. And now... Oprah has it on her Favorite Things list.

I know my someone who is going to love having this wrapped up and under the Christmas Tree this year. It's plainly a work of art... and kids love it as well.

The 11-part series Planet Earth  is an awe-inspiring view of the spectacular world we live in. More than five years in the making, the footage covers 200 locations in 60 countries around the globe.

"I'm telling you, it is the most magnificent series you will ever lay your eyes on," Oprah says.

You get to be immersed in the torrential downfall of rushing waters, listen to beats of a hummingbird's wings and watch a snow leopard stalking her prey. I feel as if I have been to the hidden crystal caves of Mexico. You will view things about our earth in ways you never dreamed possible.

I wondered through out the hours... how did they get those pictures? If you have an HD DVD player... get the HD version. It is well worth the extra bucks.  If you don't have one... get one for him. He will love it! And they have really come down in price.
