Guiding Light-

Jonathan’s back!

I have been eagerly anticipating Jonathan’s return. Jonathan was such an intense character that I enjoyed very much. If you noticed, around the time of Tammy, Sarah and Jonathan’s departures is when Guiding Light became dull. Well, now Jonathan is back in town. This will be quite interesting for Lizzie, especially since she is supposedly pregnant with Bill’s baby. Once her anger toward Jonathan dissipates, she will want Jonathan back. I don’t foresee those feelings being reciprocated though. I have also heard rumors that Tammy is alive. Tammy’s return would serve as icing on the cake.

As the World Turns-

Margo makes an arrest in connection with Dusty’s murder!

This is a classic case of whodunit? Lately, watching ATWT feels like one of those murder mystery dinner-boat theatres. There are just so many suspects. My 1st choice is Lily Snyder. Lily was on drugs and drinking alcohol excessively. She overdosed, blacked out, and Holden found her with a needle in her hand. Lily felt anger and betrayal for Dusty. Dusty used her at a vulnerable point in her life, then dumped her to go after Emily. Even though the storyline is alluding to Chris having something to do with it, I don’t believe Chris had anything to do with Dusty's murder. Having found out that Emily and Dusty slept together, I wouldn’t expect Chris to be too heartbroken over Dusty’s death.

The Young & the Restless-

David & Nikki plan their wedding, but is David planning something else?

I was wrong about David Chow. All signs indicate that he is after Nikki’s money. He owes an unscrupulous gentleman a large sum of money. What I don’t understand is why Nikki can’t heed the advice that J.T. gave her? J.T. has nothing to gain by hurting his mother-in-law. Also, the rushed proposal and even faster wedding to follow should have signaled a red flag. David is moving at record speed to become Mr. Nikki Newman, and to get his fair share to pay off the gentleman he owes. The saddest part of all is that Victor Newman was right. He will never let Nikki forget that.

Next week will be an exciting one for CBS daytime. The long anticipated return of Jonathan and baby Sarah is causing quite a buzz. Please let me know your thoughts on Jonathan’s return by clicking on the following link: Thoughts on Jonathan's return
