I thought I would point your attention in a few different directions for a quick glance at some of the exciting, yet varied, things happening around the country in the emerging music arena.

Emerson Hart is promoting his solo album Cigarettes & Gasoline with a tour now sweeping across the nation. Hart is the former lead singer of Tonic, which had a number one hit "If You Could Only See" an garnered a couple of Grammy nominations in 2003. Hart is on Angel Records.

Seven Mary Three has a new album, Day & Nightdriving. The album is doing extremely well and another recent single from it, "Was A Ghost", has been released. It is the third single.

You may be familiar with Seven Mary Three's debut offering American Standard which went platinum and also resulted in a number one rock hit "Cumberson". They are on the Bellum Records label.

And in a shift of focus, the theatrical release of 'Chapter 27' with Jared Leto as Mark David Chapman will be in New York theaters on March 28th. Jared Leto will make a live appearance at the Angelika on that release date.
