I'm glad you are interested in special education. My goal for the BellaOnline Special Education Newsletter is to inform readers of the many topics on our site and let you know when current articles are posted. Newsletters will typically be sent out once a week.

I will post articles about strategies for working with special needs children. Parenting issues will be discussed as well. I'll also post interesting and helpful web links as well as book and product reviews.

I would like to know what has worked for you and what issues you struggle with as well. Please feel free to leave ideas, suggestions, thoughts, and comments by using the comment form on my bio page. Another way to share or comment is to start a thread in the Special Education forum.

I look forward to reading email I receive from readers since there are so many interesting and inspiring stories and opportunities to share with each other. Those of you who educate and parent special needs children know how important it is to reach out and ask others to share this journey with you, either through support or advice. Parenting and teaching a special needs child can be extremely rewarding, joyful, challenging, and even painful and difficult at times.
