The folks at Blissport.com say "Women plan weddings, men plan honeymoons." I'm not sure I totally agree with that, but if your guy is making the vacation arrangements, you may want to direct him to this interactive website.

The beta version was launched in April 2008, and it does offer a lot of tools and resources for men who are sort-of clueless about how to plan and book a dream vacation.

I like "Honeymoon 101," where you can figure out your "Honeymoon Personality" and learn more about types and styles of honeymoons. And there's an advice-column called "Ask Molly" with questions like, "I want to make the honeymoon location a surprise. What do you think?" and "My fiancee wants to go all out for the honeymoon, but I can't afford it -- what should I do?"

Of course there are the gratuitous "Hot Honeymoon Sex" and "Honeymoon Night Advice" articles... I mean, really, how much education does a guy really need?

There's also several "Best" lists that offer up Blissport's suggestions for top resorts in Hawaii, Italy, Greece and other locales, plus their advice for booking the best all-inclusives, spa resorts and cruises.

But what's really nifty on Blissport.com is the interactive "Honeymoon Planner," where you enter style and destination preferences, and it spits out some ideas.

As a test, I plugged in "Adventure" and "Pure Seclusion," and up popped 10 resorts that were a 50% match. Each one listed a starting rate price and a brief location description, as well as "Why You'll Love It" and "Why She'll Love It." You can then click on the resort name for further information and to book.

For example, the 61-room Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Baja, which rents for $650/night (!), says that guys will love this resort because it "employs a Director of Romance Services who will help you; 60 varieties of tequila with lessons; pool restaurant cooks all food by fire, even the bread." Women will dig this property because there is "a bath menu filled with after-dinner soaking options; beach cinema; Jacuzzi on your own private deck."

Some of the results are a bit sexist (he'll love zipline tours; she'll love the butterfly farm - bah!), but if you take the results with a grain of salt, it's a fun site for you -- or your fiance -- to mess around with.
