Getting the Latest Budget Travel News

At least once each week and sometimes more often, I publish a newsletter that is sent out to all Budget Travel newsletter subscribers. The primary purpose of the newsletter is to announce a new article that has been published. Another purpose is to announce some late breaking news regarding travel in general that will be of interest to a broad spectrum of our Budget Travel readers.

There are a few things that you won't find in the newsletter. The newsletter is not a SPAM sheet. There will not be a lot of ads or links asking you to click through to buy this or that product. Personally, I find these newsletters to be very annoying when I get them and I do not send this type of e-mail to anyone. I also do not pubish news releases in the newsletter. You can read news releases about travel on any major web site like MSN or Yahoo. I do not think my readers are looking for this in a weekly newsletter, so you won't see it.

In the past I have not placed ads of any of my newsletters. That might change at some point, so don't be surprised if you see one. But as a general rule, I give you the latest link to an article that I have written that is being featured on the web page. I might also send a travel tip from time to time and that is about it.

I am a freelance writer and I do not get paid for being the Budget Travel editor. So you might see an ad in a newsletter or even in an article and if you click the ad and buy whatever is being advertised, I might get a commission. I say might because to date I have not been successful at making any money with ads in my articles.

I write the Budget Travel section and also the Wine Site Bella Online for the writing experience and exposure that it brings to me for other things. Someday maybe I'll get to stay at the Ritz for free. Someday I might get a free airline trip to Grand Cayman. Someday I might win the lotto too.

Another thing about getting a newsletter is that you should add our newsletter e-mail address to your e-mail address book so your e-mail program knows that this newsletter is coming from a reliable source and is something that you want to get.

The first step to signing up for the Budget Travel newsletter is to go to the bottom of this article and look for the box that says, "For FREE email updates, subscribe to the Budget Travel Newsletter". Fill in your e-mail address and press the subscribe button. Next check your e-mail program and look for the e-mail from Budget Travel.

If you don't see it after 5 minutes or so, check your SPAM folder. Take the Budget Travel e-mail address and add it to your personal address book so it will be white listed. That is Internet talk for adding Bella to your good guy e-mail list. That is all there is to it. Now you will get a newsletter letting you know all about Budget Travel each week.

One more thing I should mention. Bella Online keeps your e-mail address private. While I edit the newsletter, I do not have access to the e-mail addresses that receive the newsletter. In other words, I do not send it out. It is sent by an automated program and not from me personally. Only the Bella Online administrators have access to that information. Bella Online prides itself in keeping your e-mail address private and they will never sell your e-mail address for any reason.

Drop me a line if you have any questions. I hope you sign up today.

All the Best from Budget Travel,
