I don’t know about you but, I am getting sick and tired of the headlines that say “economic crises,” “bailout,” “recession,” etc. Where is the good news these days? Especially this holiday season, there should be “tidings of good cheer.”
You know what would be good news to me is that the American people band together and say, “Enough is enough!” It should be no surprise to any American that our current government is corrupt and we are in need of a new one rather badly. The Federal Reserve and the elitists that call the shots are to blame. We the people are to blame as well because we seem to be asleep, oblivious to what our government is doing behind closed doors—wheeling and dealing.
In some websites and forums I have visited, Americans are referred to as “sheeple.” According to Wikipedia, sheeple is a “label [that] seems to have originated among those in the United States and refers to people who tend to accept and follow everything at face value. Especially if it is cited in the mainstream media.” Are we watching too much Fox News and CNN these days? I guess we need our daily dose of propaganda to lull us back to sleep.
Has it really come down to this? Are we a dumb downed and naïve people? Are we too beaten down by the system that currently enslaves us? How are we enslaved, you may ask? Then, you need to read my article, “It’s the Federal Reserve, Stupid,” to find out how our monetary system works.
I really don’t want to end this article on a bad note, as this is the holiday season. I was thinking that although the rich elitists seem to have their way, it won’t be like that forever. I believe in a just God and one day they will get what they deserve. Even though, some of us may be “poor in spirit,” we have the assurance to know that we are blessed for the kingdom of heaven is ours. (Matthew 5:3) The good guys really do win in the end. So, for all of you that are affected during this economic crises, I want to encourage you to take heart and persevere. I pray that all your needs are being met. As God does provide for the animals of the land, sea and air; He provides for his people much more so.
I want to wish you all a blessed and safe holiday season!
