Love Will Find You: 9 Magnets to Bring You and Your Soulmate Together
By Kathryn Alice
When I first received Kathryn's book, Love Will Find You - 9 magnets to bring you and your soul mate together, I was not sure I could read it much less review it for Divorce at BellaOnline, and I was pretty sure I would not be recommending it to my readers without some sort of serious backlash. After all, who wants to read a book about finding love when you have just lost love?
But, I have tell you that the writing is engaging and creative - it kept pulling me along through the first four chapters where I learned about believing he's out there, about how to invite my love in, about letting go of fear, and how to let my light shine. Frankly, most of what I have heard previously albeit written in a way I could tolerate. Then I found the light of this book, chapter five.
Chapter 5 is about releasing old loves, essentially saying good bye to the past, and hello to the future. When I got to Chapter 5 a flash went off inside my brain. During my conversations with divorced or divorcing people, both men and women, one issue I personally stress to them is to wait until they are over their former spouse before moving on to the next. Whether you initiated the divorce or not there has to be time taken before moving on. There needs to be a process to help you move on, and finally, here it is.
Written in Kathryn's reassuring style she teaches you how to let go of your old loves, how to say good bye, how to see the good in every person and every relationship and how to realize that obviously this person was not your soul mate; but that it is perfectly okay because you may have needed these people to teach you to love and accept your real soul mate.
I'm not one to believe that everything happens for a reason like Kathryn is, but I can still see the points made in this chapter as well as the remaining chapters which go on to teach you how to open up to a new love after letting go of the old. How to date differently with the intention of finding and knowing your soul mate all by being your newly healed self not some made over fake version of yourself.
In addition to the book I received Kathryn's Releasing a Person recording where she takes you step by step through the act of letting go of a person. It is also reassuring and soothing. In addition I really like the dating, communicating, and other tips that are in the appendix. Kathryn also has many resources that you can check out on your own if you choose to read her book.
