Living a charmed life - Book Review

Victoria Moran's Living a charmed life - your guide to finding magic in every moment of every day, is a lovely book that is filled with information that will inspire you. You will be charmed by this book before you start reading it, the cover is bright, light and breezy, it simply begs you to read this book. Once inside you will not be disappointed, here you will find 25 short chapters on how to live a better life by finding magic in it every day. Ms. Moran says, "Living a charmed life is your birthright, one that you can start to claim as soon as you take to heart--and put into action--the practical and spiritual tips you'll find here." You will find what Moran calls "Lucky Charms" in every chapter, the first one is, "Choose a common action (like looking in a mirror or walking through a door), and every time you do it, remind yourself that you are worthy." Read this book and pass the positive affirmations on to your family and friends.

Victoria Moran gives you the tools and techniques that allow you to see your life differently and to make changes that will help you move forward to a better and more positive life. Moran helps you understand that living a full and rich life is within your reach and it can be yours if you will make an attitude adjustment. There are countless books written on the subject of changing the way you think, etc. However, Ms. Moran writes in a way that makes changing more of a gift to yourself rather than a chore, because you deserve happiness and a good and positive life. There are no charts to follow and no tests, but there is something Moran calls a serendipity log that you fill with little everyday joys. What a treat and a great idea, so much better than memorializing the bad day you had at the office. Moran advises that we should use the serendipity log as a hedge against the charmed-life blackouts that occur. Certainly an ongoing list of personal positive happenings, no matter how small, will help anyone learn to appreciate the little things in life that make us smile and feel good.

Reading Living a charmed life is like calling the friend you know will cheer you up when you are down. This friend knows exactly what to say to you when you are feeling low, or when you feel like beating yourself up for not getting that job or burning dinner. Do yourself a favor and buy two books, one to keep and one for a good friend.

Victoria Moran is a certified life coach and an inspirational speaker. She is the author of ten books including, Creating a Charmed Life, Lit From Within and Fat, Broke and Lonely No More.

Highly recommended.
