Curtis Peoples Self-Titled

Curtis Peoples Self-Titled
The debut album of Curtis Peoples is intelligently self-titled. "Curtis Peoples", that debut album, is a ten-song track that gives you the flesh and bone of a gifted performer and song by song you begin to get a visual picture of the man, his music, and his essence.

Curtis has paid his dues along the way. He's toured with some high profile names in acoustical pop, rock and folk. Names like the awesome Josh Kelley (one of my all time favorites!!!), Tyler Hilton, Hanson and Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers. As it happens with tours, the crowds start to make noise about those that bring something extra to the table and from coast to coast that noise was about Curtis Peoples. He was becoming a force all his own! It stands to reason why Marshall Altman produced the artist. Marshall has a fine eye for real talent and he quickly recognized that Curtis Peoples has it.

As comparisons go, you may hear John Mayer or Bon Jovi, but as this album goes you’ll hear Curtis Peoples. This is his style, his take on both his own lyrics (yes he’s the song writer or co-writer too) and his own sound. Slated for release by The Control Group/Galt Line Music in mid-August, listen carefully to “Wake Up” and “Tell Me I’m Wrong”.

Curtis is Los Angeles based but will be making a host of appearances nationwide in August and September. So, if you are in L.A., San Diego, Newport Beach, Orange (California), Boston, New York City, Rockaway, Chicago, Indianapolis, Charlotte, Chapel Hill or Grand Rapids, you’re in luck. He’s coming your way. There are only some of the cities he’ll be performing in. We wish him the best!
