Marketing Your Digital Art with ArtFire Kiosk

Marketing Your Digital Art with ArtFire Kiosk
One of the reasons that I decided to start this series about selling digital art on ArtFire.com was because of all the new features that are planned at ArtFire to help you market your store. Some of these features are planned for the near future and some have just been activated.

One feature added recently that you will want to use is ArtFire's new Facebook Kiosk. This is a first-of-its-kind application that lets you display your ArtFire store on your Facebook page. It even has the ArtFire's Rapid Cart so that your customers can purchase products in your store directly from the Facebook website. I predict that other sites such as Etsy will soon follow with their own version of this application but for now ArtFire is the only one to offer this feature to their sellers.

All the settings for your ArtFire store, such as your banner, layout and item descriptions, carry over to your Facebook Kiosk which helps to carry your business brand over to your Facebook page. You will find that your store banner is reduced in size slightly but the thumbnails of your products are basically the same. Also, on the product description page for each product, there is just one view of the product. Your secondary and subsequent views in your ArtFire store, along with the clickable thumbnails, are not carried over to Facebook. Only the first view is used on Facebook. However, there is a link to your ArtFire store at the bottom of the Facebook Kiosk. As on your ArtFire store, there are thumbnails at the bottom of the each product description page for "other items from this seller". These links take you to the product descriptions for other items as they are listed in the Kiosk.

Also, the Kiosk is fully integrated with your ArtFire store. If you make a sale on your ArtFire store, it will be reflected in your Kiosk. Of course, it works the other way around by updating your ArtFire store listing when a purchase is make from your Facebook Kiosk. Because the Kiosk is updated with every new page view, your customers on Facebook will always see the newest updates and revisions to your ArtFire shop. Everything is updated in real time.

ArtFire has made it easy to add this application to your Facebook site. There is an online Help Guide on ArtFire that walks you through the setup. To allow Facebook to grab your shop banner and current product listings, you need to tell Facebook where to find your ArtFire information. There is a simple wizard for that. Once you have the two sites linked, you will add a new ArtFire Kiosk tab to the public view of your Facebook page. Clicking on the ArtFire Kiosk tab is just like going to your ArtFire store, except your customer never leaves Facebook.
