Sophisticated Halloween Treat Bag

Halloween is coming soon and there will be any number or parties. If there is one thing that goes well with parties it is treats. There are several ways to make regular treats into something special for all your guests. Favors can take any shape and match any mood which you may have in mind for your Halloween party. With just a few rubber stamping supplies you can make any treat bag special.

Cellophane great bags are wonderful, but they can be made really special with just a quick bag topper made from your own paper and Memento Ink Pads, Versamark watermark pads (or any dye based ink pads).

Supplies: (Available at Sarilyn Crafts)
• Memento Black Ink Pad
• Versamark Champagne Watermark Pad
• Halloween Scrapbook Paper
• Pumpkin cardstock
• Halloween rubber stamps
• Adhesive
• Stapler
• Goody bag
• Treats
• Non stick craft sheet

First, lay out your non-stick craft sheet to protect your work surface. Non stick pads are a wonderful way to protect just about any work surface. They are heat resistant, wipe clean easily from even pigment or other permanent inks and pens. Just about the only thing you cannot do is to cut on the surface, as you will cut through your craft pad.

Cut your pumpkin cardstock to 4¾” x 2½”. Using Champagne Versamark pad, stamp background image onto cardstock. Then stamp your Happy Halloween Sentiment and main image onto the cardstock using Memento Black ink. Distress edges of cardstock until you are happy with the results.

Cut your piece of Halloween scrapbook paper to 5×6″. Fold so piece is 5×3″. Using your adhesive, apply to back of your pumpkin cardstock and adhere this to the front of your folded scrapbook paper (fold facing the top). This is your treat bag topper.

Fill the treat bag with any type of treats you wish. Close the treat bag and staple it for stability

Open folded bag topper and lay face down. Using Cheetah adhesive runner, put adhesive on both sides of fold on back of paper. Place over the top of your treat bag and, using gentle pressure, push bag topper onto bag to adhere thoroughly.

Give out your treat bags to all of your favorite witches and warlocks, ghosts and ghouls!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

These supplies and thousands more are available at Sarilyn Crafts
