Pretty Maids

Danish melodic hard rockers Pretty Maids are back with a new CD called Pandemonium. It will be released in Europe on May 15 and on June 8 in the U.S.

Heaven Shall Burn

Heaven Shall Burn will be releasing their newest CD on June 8th in North America. Entitled Invictus, it will come out on Century Media Records and was recorded in Denmark with guitarists Maik Weichert and Alexander Dietz producing.

Beginning April 5, a full track listing with stories on each song will be posted on the Century Media Facebook page ( In addition, a new track will be unveiled on the band’s MySpace page (link at the bottom of this page) on April 9.

Heaven Shall Burn will kick begin touring in June, appearing at many festivals and following that up with a headlining European tour this fall.

The Devil Wears Prada

Watch for the new video from The Devil Wears Prada to debut Monday, April 5 on MTV2 – Headbangers Ball. The video is for the track “Assistant to the Regional Manager” from the CD With Roots Above and Branches Below (Ferret Records).

Kings Destroy

Combining doom, hardcore and stoner rock, Kings Destroy hope to make some noise with their debut two-song 7-inch which will be released on May 25th. One of the two songs, “Old Yeller” can be previewed on the band’s MySpace (see link at bottom of page). The band’s influences include Yob, The Melvins and Cro-Mags and their lyrics show them to be well-rounded individuals since the material ranges from science fiction to societal issues and politics. The band will play some shows in May and will be donating a portion of the profits to a Brooklyn-based youth basketball team. The plan is to record a full length in June which is to be released this fall.

With guitarist Clint Lowery back in the fold, Sevendust’s original lineup will release the band’s 8th album, Cold Day Memory on April 20. Lowery joins vocalist Lajon Witherspoon, drummer Morgan Rose, bassist Vince Hornsby and guitarist John Connolly who will put the CD out on their own label 7Bros Records which will be distributed through Warner Music Group’s Independent Label Group
