MyHeritage.com Introduces Family Memory Game
MyHeritage.com has announced a Family History Memory Game. This is a game that can be played with the entire family. It can get them excited about their ancestors and descendants; it will give you an opportunity to introduce them to family they may have never heard about. If you have a picture with the information, how much more special the game will be.

Here is what MyHeritage.com relates about this exciting new game:

Fun for all the family! Introduce your family to their ancestors by playing our new online memory game. Beautiful personalized picture cards of your relatives and ancestors (automatically created online) will have the entire family hooked. So who has the best memory in your family?
The family memory game:
  • Find the matching pairs to win
  • Play against family members - or solo against the clock
  • Completely free to play
  • Ideal for family trees with 20+ people... and lots of photos
  • Order a print version - ideal for family holidays and playing on-the-go
It works much like a conventional memory card game. There’s a big difference between this and any other memory card game, however, and that’s because this is personalized to your family. MyHeritage.com will automatically generate picture cards from the closest relatives in your tree – and can even include a live picture of one player via webcam. With the cards laid face down, players turn them over two at a time until a match is made. The winner is the person who reveals the most matching pairs. To see a picture of the game, click HERE!

If you did not have pictures, here is an example of one of the games I played that did not include pictures, click HERE.

The only condition to see and play the memory game is to have a free account on MyHeritage and upload your family tree. Its better, of course if you can have at least 10 or 15 people with photos, but not a must. Pictures are not necessary, but would make the game more fun and a learning experience to relate to your ancestors.

Would love to hear feedback from you in the Genealogy Forum to let me know if your family enjoyed the game and had a great family activity. I think it is a great idea to help learn the names of your family.
