Here we will explore the complex, and simple, issues surrounding women's challenge to balance their careers and their children, their need to make money and their need to make homes, and their commitments to their individuality and their fierce bond with their offspring.

As we go on this journey together, let's remember that each woman brings her own specific experiences, culture, beliefs and life situation to her ongoing endeavor to define herself and her roles. Let's be respectful of the fact that no answer is the right one for all of us, but we can still learn from and support each other in our individual ventures.

To that end, you will find information here on being a career mom, a business- owner mom and, for now, a stay-at-home mom. You will find general stories that affect all moms, no matter what other roles they choose or have chosen for them.
