Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway of "The Princess Diaries" is our next back-to-school style icon.
Dark hair often looks best in 'un-fussy' styles, and Anne's deep dark hair is so striking that it looks best swept off her face in clean lines.

This sophisticated hair color needs little accenting except for lots of shine. Use great quality products and spray shine to get it!
However, for a change, tiny caramel highlights will brighten it without distracting from the rich brown. These are added with foils to control the size and placement of the strands.

Her long, thick hair is worn off her face and in a blunt cut with only a few long layers. It can be worn smooth hanging in a blunt curtain of hair or brushed into a simple, smooth updo.

Ms Hathaway can also scrunch her hair into big, loose waves, either hanging loose and natural or brought up into a ‘messy bun’for a casual look.
