November 16 2010 Quilting Newsletter

Hi there Bellaonline quilters, it’s just me popping in to say hello and bring some quilting news your way.

Well, it’s official. I can now find things in my sewing room!! After moving here in August, it’s taken me this long to get the rest of the house sorted and now I’ve had some time to spend on my little cave and I’m so excited. For a while there I could find nothing – I hadn’t taken the time to find a place for everything. But that nightmare is over and I’m now feeling ready to get busy quilting again. It’s a great feeling at last to be feeling at “home” with my sewing stuff!

I mentioned previously that I’m having my three sisters here for Christmas this year and so I’m busy making gifts for them. We don’t often swap presents because of the distances between us, but having them here in my own patch means I can make stuff for them. So I’ve got a couple of gorgeous things lined up waiting to be created. I’m in heaven!!

Last Sunday I posted an article listing gift ideas for quilters. I often get emails from partners of crafters who would like to know what the latest gadget is, or what would be best for their crafting loved one. So I’ve made a list and posted half of it last week, and will post the remainder of the list this week. Here’s the link to the first part of the list:

I’ve also asked that question on the forum. Pop over to the link: http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/642845#Post642845 and post your ideas.

I’ve been busy on the web finding all sorts of yummy things for you this week. Hope you can use some of them:
