December 31 2013 Quilting Newsletter

Happy New Year one and all Ė itís the start of a whole new year and Iím busting to get on with it. We didnít actually see in the New Year last night Ė but we heard the suburb celebrate at midnight with the usual pots and pans and merriment.

I do hope everyone who celebrates Christmas enjoyed their festivities and that for everyone the holidays were a chance to catch up and get things done. I managed to make two queens sized quilt tops for my friend Diane over the holiday. Iím very pleased with the result Ė sheís quilting them at present and Iíll have them back sometime soon to bind. They will be thankyou presents for some friends of hers. When I get them back Iíll take some photos for you.

Iíve made a few resolutions for 2014, but Iím keeping them close to my chest Ė I usually fail on the resolution front by about the 10th of January, so Iíll let you know how I go.

I wrote an article for my quilting readers about making New Year resolutions and I hope it is of some help to those who are finding themselves in a crafting ďrutĒ. Hereís the link to the article:
