Hi all, it’s the middle of September already and I heard someone mention the “you know what” that happens at the end of December. I can’t believe how quickly this year has whizzed by.
I’m having a very relaxing day today, after another busy week. I assisted at the quilt valuation day on Monday and we had a great day. There was one particularly interesting quilt that came in and the workmanship was out of this world. What a buzz to have seen such a wonderful quilt close up and personal. That’s why I like helping on days like these.
You get to see and hear things about quilts that might otherwise pass you by. I can thoroughly recommend it.
Today I’ve just finished my postcard for the postcard swap that I have been talking about recently. I’ll post an article next Sunday showing some of the postcards I’ve made and ones that I’ve received.
The one I’ve completed today has a theme “Garden Critters” and I was a little puzzled as to what to do. But anyway, I’m happy with the result and it will be in the mail shortly. I’m really enjoying the postcard swap, and my particular group consists of the girls that are subscribers to my newsletter. So some of us are getting to know each other, from all around the world.
Last Sunday I posted an article that is a continuation of the Theory of Color for Quilters topic. This time it’s all about using blue in your quilts. Here’s the link to the subject if you’d like to have a look.

We’re up to N and after we’ve got to Z, I’ll be starting another fun game, only this next one will really get your thinking caps going. Stay tuned. Well, dear quilting friends, I must away for another week. I do hope this newsletter arrives at your place when all is quiet and there’s a chance to catch up to what’s happening at Bellaonline – Quilting. If not, shut the door and windows and chill out with me!
Stay well and I’ll pop in again next week.
Cheerio for now
