Hi all, itís the middle of September already and I heard someone mention the ďyou know whatĒ that happens at the end of December. I canít believe how quickly this year has whizzed by.
Iím having a very relaxing day today, after another busy week. I assisted at the quilt valuation day on Monday and we had a great day. There was one particularly interesting quilt that came in and the workmanship was out of this world. What a buzz to have seen such a wonderful quilt close up and personal. Thatís why I like helping on days like these.
You get to see and hear things about quilts that might otherwise pass you by. I can thoroughly recommend it.
Today Iíve just finished my postcard for the postcard swap that I have been talking about recently. Iíll post an article next Sunday showing some of the postcards Iíve made and ones that Iíve received.
The one Iíve completed today has a theme ďGarden CrittersĒ and I was a little puzzled as to what to do. But anyway, Iím happy with the result and it will be in the mail shortly. Iím really enjoying the postcard swap, and my particular group consists of the girls that are subscribers to my newsletter. So some of us are getting to know each other, from all around the world.
Last Sunday I posted an article that is a continuation of the Theory of Color for Quilters topic. This time itís all about using blue in your quilts. Hereís the link to the subject if youíd like to have a look.
Weíre still pumping away at the forum for the second round of Patchwork Alphabet Soup. Weíre up to N and after weíve got to Z, Iíll be starting another fun game, only this next one will really get your thinking caps going. Stay tuned.
