Hi Hot & Spicy food lovers,

Happy New Year everyone. I have a lot of heavy rain here today, but thatís O.K. itís perfect time put some of my newer recipes in order.

*Spicy Beef Puff Pastry Recipe* Your children will like these meat pastries. Make them small enough for little hands or cut in half to serve. A beef puff pastry and a glass of milk makes a hearty warm snack. Add a cup of soup and a green salad you have lunch or dinner.

Last weekís recipes

If you did not have time to make these appetizers for holiday fare, you can make now. They are good anytime.

*Zesty Healthy Appetizers Recipes*
Healthy appetizers don't have to be dull or plain. Try Zesty Potato skins or Hummus that will make you hum.

[H&S Hints]

*You can make store bought dips and mixes look homemade. Buy a couple of large sweet peppers, cut them in half, and remove the seeds. Put your store bought salsa and onion dip, etc., in the hollowed peppers and use them as serving cups. I like to use orange or yellow peppers, because they look unusual and festive. Use plastic colored plastic spoons to scoop dips from pepper cups onto chips and crackers.

*A smooth and creamy dessert is a good way to end a meal of hot and spicy foods. Make an easy and elegant chocolate hazelnut mousse. Use one package of instant chocolate pudding, prepare according to package directions, add hazelnut extract, and stir to mix well. Chill pudding a bit, then add Cool Whip. Fold Cool Whip gently into pudding to make mousse and spoon into champagne glasses or other stemmed glass. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes about 6 servings.
