These days, with time-shifted programming, it can be difficult to gather around the water cooler and find someone who watched the same show you did last night. What do you do when you are itching to find out what others think about the latest developments on your favorite shows? Well, why not join me at The Water Cooler on BellaOnline.

I'm Rachel Koller, the new editor of BellaOnline's Prime Time TV site. As a young twenty-something, I have a pretty eclectic taste in television. I'm into teen dramas like Gossip Girl, family shows like Jon & Kate Plus 8 and more scandalous fare like Showtime's Weeds. I've also been a fan of The Office since it aired on NBC and have developed a taste for British television as well after having spent a lot of time in the UK.

What I will mainly focus on are topics that arise from the television shows I watch. I think television is fascinatingly reflective of our current society and says a lot about the human condition. As such, I'll tend to write articles about something humorous, controversial or just plain ridiculous that occurred on a recent episode of a show. I'd like the Prime Time TV site to be a place for serious discussion as well as laughter and humor. At the end of the day, most people have television as a common interest and I'm all about getting together with others to discuss goings-on in the world -- even if it's about made-up people in a made-up place. Let's not discount reality TV, though!

Think of me and BellaOnline as trusted neighbors and friends. As such, we will never do anything distasteful with your email address such as sell it. We don't even give your information to the other BellaOnline editors and advertisers. Trust me when I tell you that you will only get the information you signed up for -- nothing more. Also, if you ever feel that your inbox is getting too full, you can go right ahead and unsubscribe.

So, have I been able to convince you that this I can make the newsletter worth your while? I hope so and that I see you at The Water Cooler soon!
