It’s that time of year when the big networks start looking at their current lineup for the fall schedule. They examine which programs are bringing in the viewers and which aren’t.
Sitcoms began when a few vaudeville performers transitioned to radio in the late 1920s and early 30s. Later, television allowed viewers to see their favorites in action on weekly half-hour shows.
