Zozo and the Ouija Board
Most people know that the story of The Exorcist was actually based on a true story of a young boy possessed by a demon, and taken to the old Alexian Brothers Hospital in St. Louis to be helped. Many don't know that, as in the movie, the trouble all started with an Ouija board.

UFO Abductees: Betty and Barney Hill
Betty, a social worker with a Master’s Degree, and her husband, Barney Hill, an employee of the United States Post Service, were on their way home from a vacation in Canada in the autumn of 1961, when an event occurred that would change their lives significantly and eternally.

Giant Rabbits of England
I adore Jimmy Stewart in Harvey, the movie about the giant invisible rabbit. Of course, it would be rather difficult to “sight” an invisible rabbit. But, the townspeople of Felton in northeast England had their hands full in 2006, with a giant rabbit and his voracious appetite!

Major R. Sumerford vs. Lightning
I enjoy being out in a storm, and feeling like I’m part of the excitement of it all! If Major R. Sumerford of Vancouver, Canada, was alive today, I’m sure he would consider that to be very foolish behavior indeed. Sumerford was struck by lightning three times during his life in Canada.

Ghosts of Haw Branch Plantation

The Disappearing Levi 501s
Betty Ann Morken of Roseau County, Minnesota, claims two male ghosts, John and Sam, are haunting their farm house, and stealing her husband's Levi blue jeans!

Dyatlov Pass Incident
In early February of 1959, a group of ski hikers were found dead under mysterious circumstances in the northern Ural Mountains of Russia. The pass where the nine hikers were found has since been named after the leader of the group, Igor Dyatlov, and is currently called Dyatlov Pass.

Rudolph Valentino’s Ghost
Although I had heard of the “woman in black” who brings red roses to the grave of Rudolph Valentino every year on the anniversary of his death, I wasn’t aware of the numerous sightings of the great lover in various places since he passed in late August of 1926.

Spring Heeled Jack
Victorian England isn’t known for being an exciting era. Although, I’m sure for those who had the pleasure(?) of meeting Spring Heeled Jack, it did have its moments!
