How to use Pumpkin for Awesome Ethic Skin Care
Have You Ever Used Pumpkin in Your Skin Care Regimen?
Pumpkins are a rich source of vitamin A, C and E as well as antioxidants. Did you know that pumpkins have been known to help fight sun damage and wrinkles?
They're great for exfoliating dead skin cells because of their fruit enzymes. They contain zinc and potassium and have been shown to combat redness in the skin. When you combine pumpkin with honey you can get a pretty amazing body scrub. Pumpkins give you the enzymes, honey adds moisture and a little brown sugar dissolves the dead skin cells.
Yes, you can pretty much use pumpkin all over your body. Guess what? You can make your own scrub.

Here's a Vanilla Pumpkin Sugar Scrub compliments of simplystacie.net
1 cup natural raw sugar
1/8 cup coconut oil, melted
1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir. Store in a mason jar.
Brown sugar can be substituted if you can’t find natural raw sugar. Use it on your body (not face) in the shower. Scrubs can get a little messy so using them in the shower is the easiest way to ensure your bathroom doesn’t get scrub everywhere.
If it’s warm where you live, you could also use it outside with a tub of warm water. Because this scrub contains edible ingredients, you’ll want to store it in the fridge and keep it up to one month.
