How To Fall In Love
Love yourself. Love everything there is to love about you. Your values, your style and your many talents even the way you smile. Love the way your body looks. Even if you are a little curvier, or thicker than your friends. Love the way you walk. Even the way you are different.
If you love yourself you can love anybody. Think about what makes you, you. Find different ways of nurturing yourself. Increase your self-worth by challenging yourself even if they are small challenges.
The world can be a pretty tough place – some people may try to knock you down, don’t join them. Don’t be your own worst enemy. Don’t always look for fault in yourself. Look for ways of nurturing yourself, to build your self confidence. Look for ways to improve on you.
Have confidence in your abilities. Know that you have the ability to make changes in yourself. You have the power to change you. You have the right to believe in the power of you. Be very supportive of yourself, win or lose, good or bad. Be your biggest fan.
Keep a journal of feelings. Be honest with yourself. Whether you feel happy or sad, be willing to be honest about what you’re feeling. Being honest with yourself helps you deal with your emotion.
Express thanks to yourself for being you. This will give you a sense of gratitude for being alive and well. This will also give you a sense of self-worth for making a difference in your life. Be grateful for the many sides you have like, sad, happy, weird, radical etc…
I am the only me. There is no one else exactly like me. I own everything about me. I own my failures and mistakes – my wins and losses. I even own my embarrassing moments as well as my great accomplishments. I am me – the only me in the whole wide world.
Realize that you are one of a kind and that you deserve the right to give the world the best person you can be. Falling in love with yourself is being happy in your life. Appreciating the power of you know matter what. It can be pretty cool to dress and act like everyone else. But it’s even better to be unique, to be different, and to be you. My daughter is different and has inspired me. Have you fallen in love with yourself yet?
