Sun in Sagittarius – Time to Celebrate !
Each year, around November 22, the sun enters Sagittarius, and the celebrations begin. This is the season when we find ourselves spending more time with family and friends. Baking cookies with the kids, shopping with siblings and decorating our homes are the activities which fill our days during the Sagittarius sun.

Sagittarius-tide is also the season for social events, and nobody throws a party like fiery Sagittarius. Exciting and entertaining the Sagittarian born, loves a party and he will travel far and wide to get there, or to obtain the necessary ingredients to transform his own gathering into the event of the season.

This is the third and final time in the annual cycle that the element of Fire is prominent.
We are moving deeper into the dark time of the year when the days are shorter and the nights longer. As we prepare for the cold of winter, our spirits are lifted by remembering that fire will be there to keep us warm on those chilly nights. We are encouraged with a reminder that at the end of the Sagittarius reign, the sun will once again begin to lengthen its daily journey.

The sign, Sagittarius, is ruled by the planet Jupiter, the lucky planet. Those born under this sign, or who have Jupiter prominent in their charts enjoy more than their share of good luck. Jupiter, know to the Greeks as Zeus was the king of the gods. His regal qualities as well as his adaptability are shared by those born under this sign.

In addition to being a fire sign, Sagittarius is a mutable sign. This explains the changing weather during this time as well as the changeable, adaptable nature of the Sagittarian born. Mutability also signifies transformation, and this is certainly a great time to make positive changes.
