Comedy Central Roasts Donald Trump next spring
Things are going to become harried for COMEDY CENTRAL’s newest Roastee, real estate mogul and the most recognized businessman in the world, Donald Trump.

With no boardroom in sight, the only firing happening that evening will be the quick-witted jabs directed at the world renowned Trump. The show is scheduled to tape on March 9, 2011 in New York City. The “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Donald Trump” will air in the Spring of 2011.

“I’ll show up to the Roast because COMEDY CENTRAL is paying me a lot of money, but I’m confused as to how anybody could make fun of me,” said Trump.
“Donald Trump is a brilliant business man, who has made the Trump name a worldwide brand,” said Elizabeth Porter, SVP, specials and talent, COMEDY CENTRAL. “We are so glad he agreed to be Roasted. I'm hoping he buys me a plane."

The Emmy-nominated COMEDY CENTRAL Roast franchise returns to New York City for the first time since 2005. The previous Roasts taped in NYC were “The COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Denis Leary” and the top-rated Roast of all-time, “The COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Jeff Foxworthy.”

The "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Donald Trump" will be executive produced by Joel Gallen from Tenth Planet Productions, who was also executive producer and director of the “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of David Hasselhoff,” “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Joan Rivers,” “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Larry The Cable Guy,” “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Bob Saget,” “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Flavor-Flav,” the Emmy-nominated “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of William Shatner" and the "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Pamela Anderson." Elizabeth Porter is the executive in charge for the network. Andy Litinsky from Trump Productions LLC is a Producer on the project.

Donald Trump is well loved and hated for his popular TV show "The Apprentice", so you can be sure "You're fired!" will be words spoken again and again during the evening's roast. Will we see former apprentice favorites on the show? No doubt. It should be a fun evening with lots of fun poked at the man who has been pointing his finger of scorn at others for years.
