Imisi Releases Debut CD
'IMISI RELEASES GROUNDBREAKING DEBUT CD WITH PRODUCTION HELP FROM CHRISTAFARI AND REGGAE SUPERSTARS BIG MOUNTAIN

Lion of Zion Entertainment has consistently set out to introduce musical cultures from around the world through unique projects featuring a wide variety of world music. With the release of the debut album Visions of the Father from their newest artist Imisi (pronouced ee-mee-see), Lion of Zion has continued to raise the standard of gospel reggae.

In Tonga (an island near Samoa and Fiji), 'Imisi means "image," for man was created in the "image of God" (Gen 1:27). Made in His image, people of all cultures and languages reflect something of His likeness and through the powerful music of this diverse Polynesian group we have been given a unique vision of the Father.

'Imisi is headed by brothers David (Tevita Ka) Fohe, Jubilee (Siupeli Koula) Fohe and Joel Roberts. 'Imisi has been compared to everyone from Luciano to Gregory Isaacs, and labeled by some as "The Reggae Katinas." The CD took two years to record and was produced by some of the top names in the secular and gospel reggae markets, including Quino from Big Mountain (the best selling U.S. reggae group) and Mark Mohr from Christafari (the >best selling gospel reggae group).

"The songwriting on this album is flat out excellent and the vocal performances will give you goose bumps," says Quino from Big Mountain, "leaving no doubt that what these brothers are singing about comes from a place in their heart that does not waver. These brothers are for real!"

Reggae is more popular than ever in the mainstream market and this group has already shared the stage with top artists such as the Marleys and Sean Paul (who recently had a #1 Billboard single).

Visions of the Father is available today in all quality Christian book/music stores nationwide and direct from www.lionofzion.com home of the world's largest selection of Gospel reggae and world music titles.
