Easy Slow Cooker Apple Brown Betty Recipe

Easy Slow Cooker Apple Brown Betty Recipe
Apple Brown Betty is an old fashioned dessert, apparently dating back to colonial times. A betty is a baked pudding (according to Food Reference.com, and since it’s usually baked, the crumbs on top become brown and crisp (hence, the “brown”). This dessert is very different from a bread pudding, since the toast pieces and crumbs stay fairly crisp. Luckily, this slow cooker version, Easy Slow Cooker Brown Betty is very easy, and it cooks unattended.
