Adventures for the Holidays

Adventures for the Holidays
You have a ton of shopping to do. Your family is flying in for the holidays. Your house needs a top to bottom cleaing. All this and more may be filling your holiday season with stress and the feeling there just isn't enough time. There's still time to fit something new in! Even better if you are able to include your family! Here's a list of things from the very small to the more extreme that will add a bit of adventure and fun to your day.

Go for a horse drawn sleigh or carriage ride. Your local tourist office might be able to tell you where to find one in your area.

Attend a holiday concert. There's bound to be a local choir doing a performance!

Go caroling! Grab some friends, get the feel for a few songs you all know and hit the streets.

If its in your area and you want something a bit more extreme - give dogsledding a try.

Never really tried baking? Perfect time to try some Christmas cookie recipes. Take them into your local firestation for some holiday cheer.

Add a bit of fun to your wrapping with bells or candy canes in the ribbon.

Have a snowball fight. Go all the way and build a fort first for protection.

Have your picture taken with Santa Claus!

String popcorn for the tree. My husband loved this so much it's now a yearly tradition. Hint - let the popcorn go stale first and it strings much easier!
