Angela Hill and Valencia Watkins have been singing together since their teen years. To look at them now you would think they are still teenagers but one listen to the project "I'm Blessed" and you realize that these ladies have an old soul.

Once on the fast track for the Pop Music world with their release of their song "Boy Ya Driving Me Crazy" which did well in the Florida area, the two have now returned to their Gospel roots and will soon release a total praise project entitled "A Taste of Ophir"

I recently received a pre-release copy of the project that featured two original songs from these talented ladies. The first song "I'm Blessed" is an up-tempo and fresh song which speaks of the way we are blessed by the grace, word and favor of God. With the lyrics of "got up this morning with the breath of life and prepare to serve you with a guiding light" you know that these two ladies are on the right track to offer their service to God.

On the second song He Holds Tomorrow the perfect blend of their harmonious voices shine through. Singing of God always being with us even in tough times they convey a spirit of total understanding of the shelter God gives us all. The feeling of comfort comes right through this track and you can't help but feel the peace that these ladies convey.

Angela and Valencia are eager to share the word of God through the gift of their music. "We want to bring people closer to Christ so that they can have a personal relationship with Him" they state. Well from the sounds of the start of their project they are well on their way.
