Last Restaurant Standing (BBC America, Feb 7)
This is a new BBC America reality show where nine couples will try their hand in the restaurant business as they open one up in one short week. Hosted by Chef Raymond Blanc, the show finances the endeavors.
Then each week, a panel of judges will evaluate the restaurants and the three lowest-rated ones will have to participate in a special challenge. The losing one will be closed and after fourteen episodes, the last two remaining will actually win their own restaurant with financial and personal backing of Raymond Blanc.
On Feb 7 at 9pm ET, there will be a one hour-long sneak preview. The full two-hour season premiere will air on Tuesday, Feb 12 at 8:00pm ET with regular episodes on Tuesdays at 9pm ET/PT.

Survivor Micronesia Fans vs Favorites (CBS, Feb 7)
The grand-daddy of reality programming is back again with season 16, playing out in Micronesia. For those who wonder where the heck that is, it is an area north of Australia. Politically, Micronesia is divided into eight nation-states and territories: Guam, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, and Wake Island.
Fans of the show are playing against former favorite Survivor contestants. Will the returning players have an advantage? The favs include Yau Man Chan from Fiji (certainly my fav), James Clement and Amanda Kimmel from China, Ami Cusack and Eliza Orlins from Vanuatu, Jonny Fairplay from the Pearl Islands, Cirie Fields from Panama, Ozzy Lusth and Jonathan Penner and Parvati Shallow from Cook Islands.
Onsite is a place to sign up for Survivor Fantasy to win a trip to Micronesia.
Survivor16 Premieres on Thursday Feb 7 at 8pm ET on CBS.

Moment of Truth (FOX, Jan 23)
This show premiered on Jan 23 and it pushes the envelope with its format of hooking contestants up to lie detectors and asking 21 increasingly difficult personal questions in front of family and friends for the chance to win a $500,000 grand prize.
Based on a Colombian game show (Nothing But The Truth) that offered a $50,000 prize, it was quickly canceled after after a contestant won $25,000 by admitting she had hired someone to kill her husband. Spinoffs continue to air in 23 countries, including Spain, Brazil, Germany, France, Italy and the U.K. The US version requires answering 21 questions without lying for the chance to win a $500,000 grand prize.
Moment of Truth airs on Wednesdays at 9pm ET/PT after American Idol.

Big Brother 9 (CBS, Feb 12)
Premiering in Spring this year because of the lack of drama shows due to the writers' strike, rumors abound on the Web at sites like BuddyTV, and Big Brother9net.
Get ready for another season on 3 days each week! It all begins on Tuesday Feb 12, with more shows on Wednesdays and Sundays. CBS doesn't even have its site updated yet and still is showing last season.
