The casting calls are slowing down for the major shows, but someone is always working on another...
American Actor, New Reality Show (Philadelphia)
Talented actors wanted for the TV Pilot "American Actor", a reality competition show featuring actors. All types, 18 to 35 years of age, non-union, will be held at Mike Lemon Casting in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday, September 30, 2007.
Info: this is a 3-round audition process involving testing in the following genres: Action Adventure, Sketch Comedy, Contemporary Drama, Television Situation Comedy, Romance, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Crime Drama, Classic Theater, Dramatic Improvisation and, most importantly, the Story of the Actor.
Finalist actors will then do two pilot episodes to be viewed and evaluated by three top Hollywood agencies in front of a live theater and Internet audience. Among the top prizes, the audience-elected winner will be guaranteed a spot in the first season's cast when the production is picked up by a network. Since the entire audition process will be documented by a television crew, they require that the winner sign a release form prior to auditioning for broadcast purposes.
If chosen to continue, film sequences will be shot in October and the live theater and internet broadcast will be held in late-November.
Note: There is no pay but exposure and experience will be significant.

New Game Show "Nerve Centre”
Nerve Centre is a new game show that tests a contestant's ability to determine how much is enough, and when do you keep pushing for more? Four contestants compete against each other in a high stakes game of ‘chicken’. There is no trivia or skill involved and the winner could go home with as much as $100,000.
If you are the type that can psych out the competition, one who knows when to push forward or hold back, then this may be your shot at the brass ring (AKA cash!).
To apply, email your name, contact info, recent picture, and a brief description of yourself. Auditions will be held in Burbank over the next two weeks, as well as in San Diego on the 6th of October and Santa Barbara on the 13th.

Casting Call for Girls 15-17 for New Program with Jessica Weiner
A new program with Jessica Weiner the "Queen of Self-Esteem" – as seen on The Tyra Banks Show, CNN, & The Today Show – they are looking for real teenage girls (15 to 17) to tell it like it is for a ground breaking online event.
If you are a teen between 15 & 17 years old and want to win a $5000 scholarship package, you can apply by emailing the following to stephanie.talent@hotmail.com:
a current photo of yourself and an essay (500 words max) on how Hollywood impacts your body image and self-esteem.
Note: you must be available for filming on October 20th, November 10th, and December 8th. Parental / Guardian’s consent is required.

If you are celebrating a 40th birthday in 2007, then TV Land wants to experience it with you!
